In the first of what might become a series, I’d like to introduce my treasured few followers to a poet who should be famous but isn’t and seems to be happy that way. His name is Luke Otley and his website is called My Troubled Mind. You can probably tell why I like him. He writes open, honest, heartfelt poems that I keep going back to. He once gave me some good advice that he probably borrowed from someone else. He said comparison is the theft of joy. He is right, and I am joyless.

This is a small selection of some poems of his. I don’t have a favourite. They are all my favourites. What makes him even more annoyingly interesting is his artwork. That’s quite good, too. Go and have a look and enjoy what he does. I do.
